MAITLAND - Three top executives at NAI Realvest in Maitland were recently honored at the NAI Global convention in Las Vegas for negotiating the 2007 Deal of the Year.
George Livingston, chairman of NAI Realvest, associate Drew Saphos and Christie Alexander, a principal of the firm, won the award for negotiating a lease agreement for 393,580sf of industrial/regional distribution space in Sarasota. The award included Mike Chambers, senior vice president of NAI Brannen Goddard in Atlanta.
The award is based on a combination of factors, including size of the transaction, its strategic importance and the brokers’ performance in satisfying the client’s objectives.
Livingston, Alexander, Saphos and Chambers were recognized for their collaborative work representing United Natural Foods Inc., the Dayville, Conn., wholesale distributor of natural and organic foods that recently expanded in Florida. The distribution facility is the company’s largest on the east coast. Meridian Development Group is the landlord.
